Blueberries are very sensitive to over- or under-watering.

Damage from under-watering results in significant yield losses in the following crop year; overwatering quickly leads to root rot caused by phytophtora.
An adequate irrigation requires the installation of many moisture meters that must be constantly monitored and checked for corrosion.
Due to the capillary function of soil, water is constantly in motion. It is therefore very difficult to get reliable values from moisture meters.
Researchers have developed computational methods for crop evaporation that are as accurate as adequate measurements.
Unfortunately, this is a complicated calculation based on a crop coefficient (Kc) number with many corrections.

Blueberry Manager now takes care of all the necessary calculations!
Our calculations are based on the FAO Penman-Monteith equation, the most accurate equation with which we can ensure that we come as close to the actual crop evaporation as possible!
Regular soil moisture measurements further improve the self learning evaporation calculations.
Through our irrigation relay board the calculated irrigation times are automatically performed.
All you have to do is enter a few settings!

We only use open source software and perform regular updates to keep your data as secure as possible.
Our server is based in Hungary where strict privacy laws help to protect your data.
We will never provide anyone with your data unless we are forced so by law enforecement.
The only data we share is fully anonymized and used for further research that will allow us to improve our software.

We make heavily encrpyted backups a few times per day to ensure that your data won't get lost.
As soon as our app becomes profitable we will allow for independent autdits to show that we take data security very serious.

Therefore our software is completely free during the test phase and we will add a feedback form to get you involved in further developments.
