Irrigation without hassle
Blueberries are very sensitive to over- or under-watering. Damage from under-watering results in significant yield losses in the following crop year; overwatering quickly leads to root rot caused by phytophtora. An adequate irrigation requires the installation of many moisture meters that must be constantly monitored and checked for corrosion. Researchers have developed computational methods for crop evaporation that are as accurate as adequate measurements. Unfortunately, this is a complicated calculation based on a crop coefficient (Kc) number with many corrections. Work you don't want during the growing season! Blueberry Manager now takes care of all the necessary calculations! Our calculations are based on the FAO Penman-Monteith equation, the most accurate equation with which we can ensure that we come as close to the actual crop evaporation as possible! Regular soil moisture measurements further improve our self learning evaporation calculations. Through our irrigation relay board the calculated irrigation times are automatically performed. All you have to do is enter a few settings!
